Holy Strike adds a weapon attack to early seal combat.
Voice of Truth is trained at 20 and provides six seconds of protection against silence and interrupts.
Shield Specialization returns mana after a block; this route completes both ranks at 42.
Judgement preserves the active seal. Seal of Fury adds absorption while a shield is equipped.
Leveling 1–60
The initial allocation uses a two-handed weapon and Retribution. At 30, the allocation changes to Holy for Holy Shock, followed by Protection. The transition to shield-based regeneration requires suitable equipment and weapon skill in addition to the relevant talents.
Before the specialization change, the weapon, Holy Strike and seal account for most damage. Seal of Command is acquired at 20; Pursuit of Justice reaches 2/2 at 22. Its 15% movement bonus reduces travel time between quests. Accessible improvements determine two-handed weapon replacement. Spirit, Stamina and Intellect remain useful after the transition to Holy.
At 30, resetting the early allocation provides 21 points for Holy. Seal of Command and the movement bonus become unavailable; Seal of Righteousness supplies offensive seal damage. The two-handed weapon remains the primary configuration through level 40. Holy Shock supports ranged engagement, finishing damage and instant healing.
Spiritual Focus 5/5 provides 70% protection against healing cast pushback; Concentration Aura provides additional protection. Divine Favor guarantees a critical effect from the next Holy Light, Flash of Light or Holy Shock. A critical Holy Shock or Flash of Light with Infusion of Light 2/2 reduces the next Holy Light cast time by 1 second. Voice of Truth, trained at 20, prevents silence and interrupts for 6 seconds.
Concentrating casts within a short interval creates time for mana regeneration: full Spirit regeneration resumes 5 seconds after the last expenditure. Reverence 2/2 retains 30% regeneration during that interval. Holy Conduit 2/2 reduces the cost of Consecration, Exorcism, Holy Wrath and Hammer of Wrath by 40%. A one-handed weapon, shield and appropriate weapon skill are required before the transition at 41.
The primary configuration consists of a one-handed weapon and shield. Shield Specialization returns 4% of maximum mana after a block, with a 50% chance at 41, 100% at 42 and a 3-second internal cooldown. Intellect increases both maximum mana and the amount restored. Armor and Stamina improve resistance to incoming damage.
Judgement preserves the active seal. With a shield equipped, Seal of Fury creates absorption equal to 50% of the seal's Holy damage, and its Judgement taunts for 3 seconds. Use of this taunt and Righteous Fury depends on the character's role in the group.
Holy Shield is acquired at 51 and grants 30% additional block chance for 10 seconds. Higher ranks are available from the trainer. Reckoning reaches 5/5 by 56; the final four points complete Toughness 5/5. The leveling allocation ends at 21/30/0 for solo play and dungeons. Subsequent specialization changes depend on the intended role and pre-raid gear.
Intellect and Stamina equipment obtained before 30 remains useful. A one-handed weapon, shield and appropriate weapon skill are required by 41; suitable low-risk opponents allow the new skill to develop. The talent reset at 30 does not require complete equipment replacement because the two-handed weapon remains primary for another eleven levels.
Mana restoration requires successful blocks. Casters provide fewer opportunities to activate this effect, so the sustainable number of simultaneous targets depends on incoming attack types. Repeated offensive Holy Shocks reduce the mana reserve available for healing.

Dungeons
The leveling route includes one visit to each dungeon located along the route. Quest experience is the primary objective; equipment drops are a secondary benefit. Repeat visits are reserved for pre-raid equipment collection at level 60. Experience totals exclude kills and bonuses. Full-chain totals include prerequisite and follow-up quests, which may require an additional visit. The percentage of a level uses the experience requirement at the listed starting level.
No dungeons match these conditions. Adjust the filters.
XP and sources
Both totals use quests available at the start of the recommended level range. The first includes direct quests without extra chains. The second includes the entire known list, including preparation and follow-ups; it is a reference total, not a promise of XP from one run. If there are no chains, the totals match. Quests spanning multiple wings award XP once.
Kills and bonuses are excluded. Classic rewards are reference values; unknown XP is excluded from totals. Quest-name links lead to Wowhead or ForeverChanges. Pick up yourself means we do not rely on sharing, including when sharing is unconfirmed. Checked 30.10.2026.
Class quests
1–4: Forsaken paladin training
Introduces the trainer and the initial healing tasks. The continuation leads to Brill.
Completion requires defeating 8 Vile Fin Attackers and 8 Vile Fin Seers, followed by conversations with four keep residents. The final conversation is with Danitha Morr.
A separate chain from 9 requires defeating the listed Tarnished and obtaining Rudolph Gelhardt’s head. After reporting to Danitha, the head is delivered to Sylvanas in Undercity.
12: Redemption · Horde
Redemption enables resurrection of fallen allies. Completion before group content provides access to this ability.
Reporting to Duthorian provides the shield reward.
22–25: Verigan’s Fist
This two-handed mace requires materials from three dungeons. The chain is most compatible with leveling when those visits already form part of the route.
After Daphne’s trial: Duthorian → Jordan Stilwell outside Ironforge. Available from 20.
The materials include Whitestone Oak Lumber from The Deadmines and a smithing hammer from Shadowfang Keep. The ore and gem are obtained through the following two quests.
Required materials include Whitestone Oak Lumber from The Deadmines and the Enchanted Silver Ingot from Shadowfang Keep. The gem is obtained through the next quest.
Merideth Carlson in Southshore requires 20 Enriched Manna Biscuits and 50 gold. Subsequent objectives in Dire Maul West are defeating Tendris, feeding the spirit and blessing the barding.
The scryer starts the event in Scholomance’s Great Ossuary basement. After the spirits and death knight have been defeated, the soul and barding are delivered to the fallen charger.
Only for repeating the event: Grayson supplies another scryer. An earned Charger does not require another run.

In the October 31 video, Pallytime follows Holy Shock with Retribution and a small Protection investment. The final frame shows 23/8/14 with six unspent points. The 21-point Holy allocation at 30 follows that video; the subsequent 30 Protection points in this route support shield combat. Direct measurements of experience per hour for these routes are unavailable.
